Dr. Matthew Burton is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He earned his degree in biological science from McNeese State University before completing his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport.
He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Missouri, where he received advanced training in robotic-assisted neurosurgery and the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Burton specializes in comprehensive spinal care for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
